We got up at 7am, per the usual, and headed down to get some coffee. The guest house, SK, was the least hospitable of our accommodations thus far. However we had just come from the Four Seasons and any place would have seemed inferior so it was probably appropriate to lower our expectations with this cheap, simple guest house. We had coffee and toast. After the 3rd frustrating attempt to use their wi-fi – with strips of paper resembling the pull tabs on a guitar lesson flyer – we headed over to the Chacoa house where we found breakfast and reliable wi-fi. We connected and ordered and plotted our next move after our flight to Krabi on the southwest coast later this afternoon. We decided to head to Ao Nang just west of Krabi where we could find a moderate place to stay for the night and then start exploring the Ko Lanta and Phi Phi regions over the next four days.
