Yesterday we woke up to the sunrise in our rickety bungalow on stilts at the Power Beach “Resort” on Phi Phi ready for a travel day.

We took one last look at our hillside private beach abode and boarded the simple yet effective longtail boat taking us to the main pier. There we would catch a ferry to Ko Lanta, our next island stop in the Krabi Provence of southern Thailand.

Soon we arrived at the Lanta Castaway Beach Resort where we will be staying for the next 3 days. Castaway is a few steps up in comfort and we are ready for cool A/C at night and a pristine white sand beach.

We enjoyed our evening happy hour cocktails while seeing the sunset in a perfect scene.
