We had such an awesome day running around the city with Alicia and Peter!
Christian went surfing (his assessment: cold) and Alicia and I went for a run in Fort Greene Park (my assessment: winded). Then Pete met us at our place and we hit the Brooklyn Flea. Alicia got a bracelet and a dress for Josie, Pete got a donut at Dough, and I got a pickle. We’re an eclectic group.
We had brunch at Tom’s and then walked around Brooklyn Bridge Park. They have a new pedestrian bridge from Brooklyn Heights to the park that wobbles slightly when you walk on it (on purpose) – it was very cool. Then we jumped a water taxi to Williamsburg and decided it was time for a beer. No better place than the Brooklyn Brewery! Alicia had an IPA – Brian would have been proud – and we tried the 25th Anniversary Lager. All delicious.
Peter had to go work on his SAE car so we dropped him off in Union Square and Alicia and I got mani pedis – Christian went to watch the Final Four with some friends. We ended the day with a show at the Upright Citizens Brigade – very funny!
