Luka is still doing a lot of sleeping. He seems to sleep best when his face is smooshed into your arm, shoulder or chest. Sometimes he makes little snarfly snoring sounds, but when he’s sleeping deeply, he’s silent.
He likes to be held high up on your shoulder so he can watch the world go by. He does not much like a cradle hold. We’re learning what soothes him, and it changes every time. We mostly soothe ourselves, hoping that the next move we try will be the one that stops the crying. Sometimes you just have to wait it out. Lucky for him, he’s adorable even when he cries.
He’s feeding a little more regularly now – about every 3 hours during the day, and sometimes every 4/5 hours at night. His longest stretch of 5 and a half hours happened at night, which was amazing. The next night was every 2 hours, which was not as fun.
We give him a bath a couple times a week. He whines a little, and definitely doesn’t like when we wash his face, but mostly he just kinda sits there. He much prefers the drying off part, when he’s all wrapped up tight in a towel. I like that part, too.
