I can’t believe it’s August. We’ve been so busy being busy, the blog’s taken a back seat. But let’s get back to it.

My parents have been in town since early August. They came in time for Josie’s 3rd (!) birthday, and will stay through to our first anniversary. We’ve seen them a few times a week – going up to Seattle and them coming to the farm. It’s been great getting together so often. They’re even looking at condos around here! We might be becoming a west coast family…

Emily was here this past weekend as well. She came with everyone to our Farm Day, and agrees that watching Josie play with baby goats is one of the cutest things on earth. And big news: she got a new job! We’re super excited for her, and are looking forward to our free subscription to Yoga Journal 🙂

C and I are now roommate-less. Wes left earlier this week for a new farm in upper Washington. We hope he loves it.

I had today off, and spent it working on our next project. It’s a doozy, so we’ll reveal little by little. For now, we’ll just say that we’re sticking with this farming thing for a while – details to come!

We’re looking forward to seeing Liz, Kendra, Mitch, Nathan and Lizzie next month, and Dave and Lynn in October. We’re scoping things out so we’ll have tons of fun stuff to do. Everyone loves cheese, right 🙂
