It’s only a temporary one until we build the bigger one this weekend with Alicia and Brian. The chicks quickly outgrew their little tub in the laundry room, and they’ve got decent feathers already. At only 5 weeks old! So we moved them outside so they can get some fresh air and slugs. They still have a heat lamp, and have been snuggling close when they rest. Still kids, but growing fast. They won’t start laying eggs until August, so they’ll just be pets until then. They are really fun to watch run around. There’s a net above them, and a wire fence all around, so they’re pretty safe. We lock them in the house at night. The doorknob is a bottle cap!
What a handyman can do with salvaged plywood!
Wow! The chickens are really going to like that fancy house! You could teach them how to use the doorknob! That would be funny!!:)
